We had terrible transfers and really got VERY concerned after so much excitement and anticipation..... but once on board, nothing was to much trouble.... I do wonder if we were on the same ship as some of the reviews we had read after booking, but before we sailed !!! i HAVE DECIDED THAT SOME PEOPLE ARE ONLY HAPPY WHEN THEY ARE MOANING !!! all in all the best advise I can give, is the ship is HUGE, take a map everywhere with you, experiance the many pleasures of italian dining, they really know how to party, and party hard, they are friendly, patient and very classy... DO TAKE THE WATER AND WINE PACKAGE, THE SOFT GIRLS AND BOYS DRINKS PACKAGE IS FANTASTIC... 20 VOUCHERS AND CAN BE USED FOR NON ALCOLHOLIC COCKTAILS NOT JUST FOR SOFT FIZZY, WHICH MEANS STRAIGHT AWAY YOU ARE NOT PAYING 4 PLUS EURO AND A 15% SERVICE CHARGE, YOU JUST GIVE A VOUCHER...THE KIDS CLUB - WELL, ONE BOY LOVED IT THE OTHER HATED IT.. THEY TRIED REALLY HARD, WE HAD A PROBLEM WITH THE FACT THAT TWICE WHEN WE POPPED BACK THERE WERE no english speaking assistance with them, hence they felt isolated and a bit out of it.. i would not book this for the childrens clubs.... if my children could n ot speak italian.............. we also very much went on holiday to speand time with our boys the club would have been the icing on the cake IF they had loved it.... I do have to say the english speaking leaders (two) did really try.... when they were with them.. cabins were really great, the tips up front I was previously aware of, and I do agree they dont do them selves any favours doing this.... we tipped our waiter (who was exceptional) and our cabin, again as we had exceptional attension to detail, over and above what you would expect from Costas flag ship... the spa was AMAZING, AND WE WISH WE COULD AFFORD A SPECIAL CABIN IN THAT AREA.. AS I WOULD LIKE TO LIVE THERE.... IT REALLY IS TRANQUILE, CLASSES GREAT, GYM AMAZING.. DO YOUR SELF A FAVOUR MAKE THE THE FIRST PLACE, EARLY IN THE CRUISE AND BOOK A 2 HOUR WRAP....... WHAT A TREAT... NEVER TO BE FORGOTTEN.. HENRIQUIE - HAS MAJIC HANDS !!
