This cruise ship is smaller than the newer Costa ships,our cabin with large porthole was very clean and well appointed.Staff were very attentive and friendly.Food was good but buffet was very hectic at lunchtimes.One thing i found odd was there were not any hand sanitisers at the restaurant, as the food was self service bugs could easily be passed on via utensils.Ports of call were varied Abu Dhabi fabulous clean and very modern .Dubai, try Emirates mall for shopping and skiing!Taxis are cheap we hired one for an hour to view Burj al Arab and other sights it cost 60 dirham about £10.Go to the creek on Friday for a walk and see the hectic pace with all the water taxis.Back to the ship ,there is a large theatre some good shows,always could get a lounger on deck.No promenade deck as such but you could walk round onthe top deck but it was very dark at night.All in all we preferred the Meditterranea but we went for the itinery.There were about 200 brits onboard and they always seat you with english speaking groups at dinner.
