We Had read mixed reviews about this ship, but in all fairness this ship does not advertise to be anything grand. we had great food, and the waiters were great.Our cabin was an outside cabin on deck 3. and it was not a bad size of cabin. I agree, the price of drink was a bit dear, also the excurtions, we did a lot of them our selves.there was not a lot going on in the ship, but it was where we always wanted to go[ Far East] and it was good value for what you got, so we You only get what you pay for. We had no problems, maybe we were one of the lucky ones when you read all the bad reviews.

The food in the restuarant was very good

Entertainment was not so good
Shore Excursions
WE did our own , but Singapore has to be the best , followed by Hong Kong.
Staff
The bar stewards Named albert and Ranz they were first class.

we are booked to go on the far east in dec 08 on the allegra are all the vistas sorted out by the cruise people or do we have to sort our selves also what say of the weather we should expect for this time of year thanks stella

to answer your question about visas, the ship organised your visas and charged to your account. China was about 10 euroes and some were about 6 euroes The weather we had in May was mixed with some heavy rain showers and thunder but that didint put us of sight seeing. It is very humid and hot. i hope you enjoy your cruise the ship may be small but the staff are very friendly and the dinning is very good after all most of the time you are away most of the day. Please let me know how you get on.
