We choose this Cruise line because of the itinery. We knew that the standard would be lower than the Princess Line but to be able to see Brunei, Borneo, Manila, Singapore, Hong Kong, Vietnam and China in one cruise we felt it was worth the sacrifice. This was the first time we had taken an inside cabin and it will be the last, not because Costa cabins were any differant to others but waking up without daylight was disorientating. Having said that the ship was well laid out and very clean and the service was very good, as was the food, and the waiters were a delight. The entertainment, although not of the same international standard of the Princesss, was nevertheless very good indeed. We thoroughly enjoyed this cruise and would recommend it to all.

| Quality of Food | |
| In the main resturant for dinner and the buffet for breakfast and lunch. | | Entertainment | |
| This cruise was an Italian line so the passengers were mostly Spanish, French, German, and Italian (Mainly) so we did not enjoy the spanish flamenco dancers but the Italian tenor was absolutely excellant. | | Shore Excursions | n/a |
| We did our ownm thing in each port so we cannot comment. | | Staff | |
| The waiters were terrific. They danced and sang through several 'special nights' culminating in dancing with the people on their particular tables. | | Children's Facilities | n/a |
| | Onboard Activities | |
| Not as much to do on a small ship like this during the day but we were in a port on most days so this didn't affect our view of the cruise. | | Cabins | |
| Cabin size was fine but we selected an inside cabin this time round and we did regret this choice as we like to wake up with natural light. | | Overall Rating | |
