Costa Marina-past it's best?...

I cannot fault either with the the service or the accommodation on the Costa Marina, but I do have two complaints about the cruise-the first being that I thought it a bit stupid that they thought it a good time to varnish one of the lifts whilst it was still in use-the fumes were terrible (what happened to health & safety!) and the lack of time in the different ports of call, I definitely would not recommend Costa to any English-we were ostrasized in no uncertain terms by the Germans (who seemed to be dominant) the French and Italians were delightful.
It hasn't put me off going on another cruise-but it definitely wont be Costa, I will stick to an English company and sail from the Uk!
